Photographs 1980-1989.

The series contains photographs of people, events, and activities at UAB during the 1980s. The photographs were commissioned by Creative Services for UAB publications and public relations activities. Among the images are photos of Dr. Joseph F. Volker, Dr. Charles A. McCallum, and other university administrators, and a set of oversized black and white portraits of prominent UAB supporters and community leaders including Birmingham Mayor Richard Arrington. A card index accompanies the series and provides individual, corporate, and subject name access to the photographs.
